When I first heard them, it was 3 in the morning. I literally thought that there was someone being murdered in the street. In all my years, I had never heard the Procyon Lotor fight. When I went out to investigate, the tree limbs were undulating wildly, and the screeching, wailing, and clicking was deafening. Apparently mating season comes a little late around here, because the brawling and trysting went on for most of April. Soon we'll have young'uns!
