Description Portrait of performer Doris Keane with her hair in pin curls, leaning her chin on her right hand. She portrayed Mme. Cavallini in "Romance" by Edward Sheldon, at Maxine Elliott's Theatre in New York City in 1913, but there is no record of the play having been performed at Macauley's Theatre. Born December 12, 1881 in St. Joseph, Michigan, Keane died November 25, 1945, in New York City.
